A corner block with a large front yard sloping to the street was broken up with contrasting surface materials and large feature mossy rocks. The paths provide access through the garden and offset the ‘bulk' of the planting. The central sand mulched garden contains indigenous plants only while surrounding gardens incorporate a broader palette of native plants. As the garden matures it will become a haven for local birdlife with regular visits to the natural stone birdbath already occurring.
